Service Technician (Water Well Systems)

This position is for our DECATUR LOCATION. Full-time (50+ hrs) | Day shift | On-call: 1 week/month Training: 4 to 6 weeks paid training in Stephenville, TX (lodging covered) What You’ll Do • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain water well systems (pumps, piping, controls) • Run service calls, preventative maintenance, and minimize downtime • Communicate with customers and document work clearly (service reports, parts, notes) • Help train and mentor newer techs • Support job closeout and collections when work is completed • Follow OSHA and applicable local regulations
Requirements • Mechanical/electrical troubleshooting experience (water well/pump service preferred) • Strong tool and diagnostic skills, able to read basic technical docs • Strong communication and documentation habits • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record • Able to perform physical field work • 21+ required (company vehicle insurance requirements) Preferred (Not Required) • CDL preferred (AWS can help you obtain one if needed) • OSHA/safety background • Water well/pump experience (pressure tanks, VFDs, controls, etc.) • Scheduling/service board experience • Training/mentoring experience
